Team Building in the Workplace

A Proven Step-by-Step Guide to Improving Team Building in the Workplace

For 20 years we have helped our clients plan, design, and implement team building in the workplace.

If you’re a Team Leader:

  1. Do you know why teams lose momentum?
  2. Do you know how to deal with team challenges before they hurt your team?
  3. Do you know what a successful team does when problems continue to surface?
  4. Do you know how successful teams measure their progress?

It is a sure bet that if you are a member of a “real team” at some point you will be frustrated by the challenges of trying to make your team work.

Why does this happen? Because every team member is different. This means team members can:

  1. See the same facts from distinctly different viewpoints.
  2. Disagree on how to do something.
  3. Differ in their basic values.
  4. Judge or discount the contributions or opinions of other team members and shut them down.

Any of these differences can affect team dynamics very quickly and negatively.

If you were the team leader what would you do?

Would you like the skills to:

  1. Help team members respect each others' points of view.
  2. Teach your team members how to listen well.
  3. Teach and encourage collaboration.
  4. Resolve destructive or unhelpful conflict.

Think about it! Were you ever taught how to deal with differences or resolve conflict effectively in school or at home. Most people would say no.

As an adult, I realized early on, how limited I was in dealing with differences and conflicts that occurred in my home and professional life.

I also found my clients’ unresolved conflicts from their past as well as in their present, were influencing their team effectiveness, more than any other challenge they encountered.

We offer you proven solutions for dealing with these and other challenges to do with teams in the workplace.

We are practitioner’s who have seen and experienced many such situations and other challenges to do with teams and those who were part of them.

We do not invest in team building just to make people feel good temporarily. Real team building stretches and grows team members beyond what they thought was possible.

We offer all of you who manage and facilitate teams a clear, no-nonsense, industry proven step-by-step guide to improving Team Building in the Workplace.
